As the Regional Coordinator of EMS in Northeast Oklahoma, I rarely encountered a more dedicated volunteer EMT anywhere else. Betty was truly dedicated to her family, her community, her squad, and those she was called upon to render aid. But mostly, she was dedicated to her Lord Jesus, as she emulated His love and compassion to all she met.

I will always remember the kindness and love that Betty gave to my sister Janie Edmondson. When my dad died, she insisted that our family let the ladies of the Baptist Church in Nowata prepare the funeral luncheon. She was one of kind. Always there to help no matter what the need. It is a sad time for your family and I am sure that she will be missed for years to come. May all of you find comfort in knowing that Betty is in God's hands. I will be praying for all of you at this sad time. Sincerely, Barbara Jo Edmondson Kerr.
