I just read of Carolyn's passing, sorry to be late with my comments. Carolyn was a wonderful friend to so many people and deeply cared for her family near and far, I am so thankful for her friendship. I was fortunate to work with Carolyn at the Nowata Hospital many years and she was a beloved friend and caretaker for my Grandmother Jessie Stanley. Even when Carolyn was fighting her own health battles, she would take time to call friends and those who maybe needed encouragement and a morning check in and chat. She will be greatly missed by so many I am sure - - but Carolyn will have been welcomed by our Lord and a host of friends and family to her heavenly home. My Mother and Grandmother were surely there to hug this sweet lady. My thoughts and prayers are with Ernest and the family. - - Kathy Blue

I was blessed to have Carolyn as a student at NHS. She supported and honored me from that point on. My heart is heavy but I know the wonderful memories she left with her family and friends that will sustain those who loved her.

Carolyn was always one of those people that could talk to anyone and treat them all the same. She was the biggest fan for anything her kids or grandkids were involved in. She never forgot to mention the Lord in any conversation with anyone and she helped others and really did not want them to know who helped them. A very humble person. She will be missed dearly.
